Representatives of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and Transparency International – Bulgaria held a meeting
In connection to the upcoming Bulgarian parliamentary elections, representatives of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and Transparency International – Bulgaria held a meeting. It was carried out as part of the needs assessment mission of OSCE, which aims to identify the needs and scope of monitoring. During the meeting the experts of Transparency International – Bulgaria presented their assessment of the legal framework and broader context in which the parliamentary elections will be held, as well as the major challenges facing the participants in the electoral process. TI-Bulgaria also briefed the OSCE experts about the objectives and key priorities of the planned independent civil monitoring, as well as the opportunities for cooperation between the organizations engaged in the process.
